2D 1N Colca Canyon Tour from Arequipa transfer to Puno

The Colca Canyon or Colca Valley 2-day tour includes the highlights of the deepest canyon in the world, and a chance to see the amazing Peruvian condors and then a transfer to Puno, one of the most scenic routes in Peru. The tour departs from Arequipa and you will be covering quite a change in altitude on the first day of your Colca Canyon trip: starting at 2300m in Arequipa, you will climb a mountain pass at 4800m before descending to the Colca Valley at 3500m.

Because you've spent a couple of days in Arequipa, you won't have much trouble adjusting to the altitude - the canyon itself is as impressive as those incredible condors make for an unforgettable experience while visiting this region of Peru.

What Is Included?

Day 1: Arequipa – Chivay

• 07:30 Pickup from your hotel in Arequipa.
• Scenic transportation to Chivay with an English-speaking tour guide on board.
• Stops at Pampa Cañahuas, Patawasi, Tojra, and Patapampa for sightseeing and photos.
• 13:00 Arrival in Chivay. Free time to explore and enjoy lunch (not included).
• Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel, such as La Casa de Anita or a similar accommodation.
• 15:30 Transfer to Umaru Thermal Baths (entrance ticket not included).
• 17:00 Return transfer to your hotel.
• 19:00 Free time for dinner (not included).

• Breakfast included at your hotel.
• 06:30 Pickup for a tour of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world.
• 08:30 Arrive at Mirador Cruz del Condor to watch condors soaring over the canyon. Free time for photos.
• 10:00 Depart and visit traditional Andean villages.
• 11:30 Lunch break in Chivay (not included).
• 13:00 Board a tour bus to Puno. Complimentary water, sandwich, and snack included.
• Scenic stops at Mirador de Patapampa, Patawasi, and Lagunillas.
• 19:30 Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel.
